Founded in 2004 by professors from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) and executives from the hospitality industry, The International School of Hospitality is the first and only educational institution dedicated to offering short term, practical, hospitality certificate programs. It is the educational division of Hospitality Experts Consortium, LLC (HEC), a consulting company that works with hospitality executives to improve leadership, team building, service, operational procedures and profitability.

The specially created Global Outreach programs of TISOH are a series of focused seminars designed for international groups.

TISOH’s global outreach programs are for visiting international groups. The curriculum will include classroom instruction by university professors and industry professionals, on-site observation and training, and site visits to many of Las Vegas’ leading hotel properties. 

We understand that international needs differ, so prior to your group’s visit, we will work with your designated group coordinator to customize a curriculum that best meets your professional objectives. Our Global Outreach Programs include tracks on management; food and beverage; meetings/conventions/events; hospitality skills; hotel operations and hospitality education/training.

Course tracks have been designed for middle-level managers, executive- level management, government delegations or academic professionals. Middle-level managers will have a chance to advance their career knowledge, improve their management skills, and improve their own pathway to executive level management. Senior management and executives will improve their leadership skills, better understand how to improve operations and manage costs and improve employee and guest satisfaction and relations. Government delegations will benefit from cultural exchanges with local decision leaders. Academic professionals from universities, colleges and high schools will learn cutting edge hospitality training techniques together with knowledge of industry trends.
